Project Overview
The development of 44no residential units for social housing provider Clyde Valley Housing Association comprises a mix of a block of 31 flats,10 cottage flats and 3 terraced properties.
Planning approval was granted by Committee in September 2019 and work commenced on site in early 2020 following approval of the Stage 1 Building Warrant.

The Brief
Allison Architects Glasgow were appointed by Wilson Developments (Scotland) Ltd to provide architectural services for this Residential Development on the site of the old Viewpark Police Station in Uddingston, North Lanarkshire.
The Design
The clients were particularly interested in incorporating curved glazing into the extension, bringing a contemporary feature into an otherwise classic architectural style.
Our architects developed a bespoke curved glazing solution that enhances the overall aesthetic while maximizing natural light. Internally, the design includes a built-in window seat, creating a cozy and functional space with uninterrupted views of the garden from both the seating area and bed.
